The Freight Industry Reference Panel (the Panel) is the Australian Government's key advisory body for engaging industry in implementing the National Freight and Supply Chain Strategy (the Strategy).

More information about the refreshed Terms of Reference and the new members will be made available in coming weeks.

Membership

More detailed information about the Panel's operation and membership arrangements will be set out in the new Terms of Reference, to be made available soon.
The new Panel membership is comprised of:

Subcommittees

The refreshed Panel is supported by three specialist subcommittees representing the heavy vehicle, rail, and ports and shipping sectors. The primary role of these subcommittees is to provide specialist advice regarding their respective transport mode.
